Septaldehyde sterilizing and disinfectant for instruments

SEPTALDEIDE 2.0 is a ready-to-use disinfectant based on acid glutaraldehyde for the
disinfection of reusable invasive and non-invasive medical devices.

It has a spectrum of action towards: bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria and enveloped viruses. Its acidic reaction allows the stability of the active ingredient in the free form. Compatible with washable materials and easily rinsable, it does not corrode metals and does not deteriorate rubber. Suitable for manual or ultrasound use.

Fields of use: For the cold disinfection of medical devices such as surgical instruments (including those for dental use), fiber optic instruments, breathing tubes, anesthesia devices, heat-sensitive reusable medical devices.

Composition:
100 grams of product contain: 2 grams of Glutaraldehyde, co-formulants and water to taste per 100 g

Method of Use:

SEPTALDEHIDE 2.0 is ready to use.
It is recommended to completely immerse the instruments to be disinfected

Effectiveness and Contact Times:

Bactericidal, fungicidal, mycobactericidal and virucidal on enveloped viruses in 10 minutes of contact.
Once the treatment is completed, remove the devices aseptically, rinse them thoroughly and dry them. In any case, read the user manual of the medical device subject to treatment in the part relevant to cleaning and disinfection. Do not immerse carbon steel objects for more than 24 hours.
